Laura was born in Cleveland Ohio and has had a most interesting career in the United States Air Force.  Upon entering the Air Force she attended the Air Force Meteorology School at Chanute AFB in Illinois.  She has had several tours of duty in Western Europe and in Germany as a Meteorologist earned her Combat Crew Badge.

Upon returning to the United States she was stationed in Washington D.C. and was on the Tiger Team for the Next Generation Doppler weather radar program and worked with the R&D team at the UNISYS factory on Long Island.  Laura then traveled world-wide teaching the Doppler Radar theory to military and civilian personnel.  After  retiring from active duty in 1995 and Laura went to work for the FAA at the NWS Headquarters fielding the off-shore Doppler radars.  In 2000, she moved to Medford to be close to her Mother and Sister who have lived here since the mid-70's.

She has been actively championing the cause for many years.  She worked on Sal Esquivel’s Campaign, McCain Campaign, the Campaign to defeat Measure 66 & 67.  This past year she ran the phone bank at the Republican Headquarters and currently volunteers 2-3 days at the new headquarters.  Upon joining Republican Women she has worked on the Membership, Calling Committee and now is the perfect Board Chair for Americanism and Caring for America. Laura is truly one of JCRW’s Angels…..

"If the people fail to vote, a government will be developed
which is not their government. The whole system of
American Government rests on the ballot box. Unless
citizens perform their duties there, such a system of
government is doomed to failure."
